Our Doctors

Our physicians are, as shown in the photo from left to right: Mark J. Fuoss, R.Ph., M.D., Christina A. Cirucci, M.D., Kristine R. Santerini, M.D., Laura J. Silverman, P.A.-C. (physician assistant), Frank D. DiCenzo, D.O., C.C.D., Bryan E. LaBuda, R.Ph., D.O., and Kerri L. McIntyre, D.O. Our medical providers have a wide range of experience serving the health care needs of women from puberty through post-menopause.

 

Mark J. Fuoss, R.Ph., M.D.
Dr. Fuoss attended Pennsylvania State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and he became a registered pharmacist after receiving his degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and served as resident and chief resident of obstetrics and gynecology at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh and Magee-Womens Hospital.

Dr. Fuoss then served in the United States Navy as a staff obstetrician-gynecologist at Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital in North Carolina. He has practiced at Premier Women’s Health since 1994. He is board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

In Dr. Fuoss’ own words: “I consider practicing obstetrics and gynecology a privilege, not a job. I enjoy every day spent with many wonderful and warm people. I value the opportunity of delivering the next generation, and I like to have fun while reaching this goal. I think everyone deserves a smile and a hello as our paths cross each day. Kindness always brings out the best in people. When not at work, my love of animals closely parallels my devotion to the profession.”

Bryan E. LaBuda, R.Ph., D.O.
Dr. LaBuda attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and received a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and served as an intern at Central Medical Center and Hospital in Pittsburgh. His residency in obstetrics and gynecology was at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. LaBuda then worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at Latrobe Area Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Beaver Valley. He has practiced at Premier Women’s Health since 1996.

Dr. LaBuda is board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. LaBuda is a native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and he and his wife, Donna, have two children, Derek and Matthew. They reside in Robinson Township.

In Dr. LaBuda’s own words: “The practice of obstetrics and gynecology is always evolving. Technology, the Internet, health insurance, and now politics are all involved in the doctor-patient relationship. The goal is still to deliver outstanding patient care. We must not forget to use our hands, ears, eyes, heart, and soul to provide excellent care. The most challenging aspect of our profession is the diversity of clinical issues among women of all ages. At Premier Women’s Health, we are ready to meet these challenges every day.”

Frank D. DiCenzo, D.O., C.C.D.
Dr. DiCenzo attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his medical internship was at Richmond Heights General Hospital in Ohio. He served as resident and chief resident of obstetrics and gynecology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Dr. DiCenzo was an obstetrician-gynecologist in the National Health Service Corps at the Toledo Family Health Center in Ohio. He then went on to become a partner at Sewickley Ob/Gyn Associates, and he joined Premier Women’s Health in 1997. He is board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. DiCenzo is also a Certified Clinical Densitometrist.

In Dr. DiCenzo’s own words: “I am happy to be serving the community close to where I grew up. I actually was born at Sewickley Valley Hospital and now I deliver babies there! After my medical training in Philadelphia and Cleveland, I worked in Toledo for three years at a National Health Service Corps clinic taking care of indigent Hispanic migrant farm workers. Since I have strong family connections in Pittsburgh, I was happy to return to this area in 1989. I have been practicing in Sewickley since then, and I enjoy integrating new surgical techniques, such as advanced hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, into my practice. During my time off, I spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities such as running, hunting, skiing, and walking our dogs. My family and I also enjoy hiking on the beautiful wooded trails, and I feel fortunate to live and work in this area.”

Christina A. Cirucci, M.D.
Dr. Cirucci attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. She then worked as an engineer at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Pittsburgh. Dr. Cirucci went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and she served as resident and chief resident in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond. She has been practicing at Premier Women’s Health since 1998.

Dr. Cirucci is board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and she also is a member of the Pittsburgh Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, the Allegheny County Medical Society, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Cirucci has traveled frequently to Africa, Pakistan, and Bangladesh to volunteer her medical services. She is actively involved in her church, where she serves on the missions committee, and she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and her cats.

In Dr. Cirucci’s own words: “I consider it a privilege to provide medical care to women, and truly enjoy taking care of women of all ages and backgrounds. The diversity is one of the many unique aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. I have also been blessed to have the opportunity to provide medical care in third-world countries. Doing so has opened my eyes to the plight of women in other parts of the world and has certainly made me appreciate all the resources and technology I have here. Medical care should be honest, compassionate, and excellent, and I appreciate that all of us here at Premier Women’s Health strive to this end.”

Kristine R. Santerini, M.D.
Dr. Santerini attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and served her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida Health Science Center, Jacksonville. Dr. Santerini was chief of obstetrics and gynecology with the 347th Medical Group at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, and she then served as a staff obstetrician-gynecologist at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. Dr. Santerini joined Premier Women’s Health in 1998.

Dr. Santerini is board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the Pittsburgh Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, the Allegheny County Medical Society, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Dr. Santerini lives in Moon Township with her husband, Scott, and their two children, Ryan and Rachel. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys golf, tennis, reading, and music.

In Dr. Santerini’s own words: “I have the greatest job in the world! I love helping families bring a new life into the world. I am very fortunate to work with an outstanding group of doctors and staff who have the same belief system and practice goals that I do. Scott and I have lived in several different areas of the country, and we both agreed that Pittsburgh was the place where we wanted to settle down. I feel very blessed to work in the area where I grew up, to be able to raise my children surrounded by relatives, friends, and lots of love. Western Pennsylvania is a beautiful area and I feel lucky and privileged to help provide ob/gyn care to the women who live here.”

Kerri L. McIntyre, D.O.
Dr. McIntyre attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and served her medical internship at Memorial Hospital, York, PA. Dr. McIntyre is board-certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. We welcome Dr. McIntyre, her husband Richard, and their children to our community. Dr. McIntyre is accepting new obstetric and gynecologic patients.

Our Physician Assistant

Laura J. Silverman, P.A.-C.
Ms. Silverman attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in American studies. She then received a master’s degree in health science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and she was certified as a physician assistant. Ms. Silverman worked as a physician assistant in the division of colon and rectal surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh before joining Premier Women’s Health in 2006. Ms. Silverman is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
